We came from behind to secure our second win of the season in another close fought game. We started slowly, conceding early on and indebted to our guest keeper for not going further behind, as they carved through our defence on several occasions. We eventually equalised from a short corner (perhaps not Symo's cleanest ever strike!) to go in level at the interval. Thankfully we upped our game in the second half, Bruce Watson scoring what proved to be the winner from what seemed an impossible angle on the byline to the left of the goal. Big thanks due to Brian Palmer, firstly for offering to play at short notice then for umpiring the whole game by himself, and to Mike Wrght, for overcoming the trauma of a missing cat at home (thankfully now safe and well!) to frustrate their forwards with an excellent performance in goal.
